Open scientific forum
04 November,2022On November 2-4 “the Open scientific forum, supported by the EU, was held for the first time in Georgia. Euro commission and open science association of Europe representatives participated in the forum. Within the framework of the forum, an opening ceremony of the digital center of Humanities took place on November 4, at the university. We hope the center will be a hub for internationalization of humanities, integration in international scientific processes and popularization of Georgian scholars’ scientific work. The ceremony was opened by Mr. Giorgi Sosiashvili who gave a brief review on the activities, plans and perspectives of the university. He expressed the willingness for active involvement in the process on behalf of the university. Mr. Zaza Maruashvili, Horizon Georgia coordinators, Manana Tandashvili, Tinatin Margalitadze, Ketevan Datukishvili, Nana Loladze and GSU teachers attended the meeting. Gori university also began to collaborate with the Institute of Empirical Linguistics, which is the well-known place for digital humanities in the world. To strengthen the collaboration ties, both parties signed the memorandum.
