On November 9, 2017, the 70th anniversary event took place at History  and Archaeology teaching scientific center, GSTU.  the event was dedicated to Mr. Giorgi Mindiashvili. Giorgi Sosiashvili, Eldar Mamistvalashvili, Ioseb Alimbarashvili, Tina Sosanidze, teachers and students wished well- known Archaeologist many successful years ahead  in his beloved profession. At the end of the evening , Mr. Giorgi Mindiashvili was awarded with special certificate of Gratitude.
