On March 27, 2019 GSTU hosted a meeting with winner students from Kvemo Sobisi, Bershueti and Ateni Public schools. A project " Influence of Ecological factors on Shida Kartli Dairy Products" took place within the framework of Shota Rustaveli national scientific grant competition " Science begins from School- Researches and School Students ". Students presented special report to the audience. ( project curator is Tamar Beridze, Kvemo Sobisi biology teacher, scientist-supervisor Tinatin Iosebidze, GSTU associated Professor , assistant Natia Sakhelashvili, Master's student of GSTU). Aleksandre Mghebrishvili, Giorgi Sosiashvili, David Chochishvili, Nana Termarkozashvili, Zurab Papiashvili gave speeches on the importance of such projects, on students participation and their ambition to be more involved in researches and partnership between schools and universities. Supervisor of the project, Mrs. Tinatin Iosebidze described positive aspects of the project, pointed out urgency of the research topic, how useful and educational the project was as it helped to increase awareness for ecological issues. At the end of the speech, supervisor thanked the university for its essential support. Tamar Beridze presented the report with her students ( six- month work) . University gave certificates to winners and promised them further assistance and support.
