09 October,2025On October 9, 2025 an awards ceremony took place at GSU for students, graduates and public school students.
The ceremony opened with words of greeting from the rector of the university, who pointed out the significance of students’ involvement, active participation and awareness of university projects and activities. Such initiatives help to raise motivation and civic responsibilities among students. The university remains the cradle to implement ideas and initiatives of students, and aids them in their endeavors. -he added.
Mr. Zurab Zurabashvili, Mr. Davit Kvernadze, Mr. Gia berdzenishvili, Mrs. Lela Aleksidze, Mrs. Ketevan Barbakadze, Mrs. Tea Khorguashvili, Mrs. Maka Nutsubidze, Mrs.Eter Berikashvili also gave opening speeches and congratulated students on their success.
Following GSU students were given awards for their dedication and hard work to successfully implement such projects: Elene, Tsertsvadze, Giorgi Razmadze, Khatia Godelashvili, Lizi Falelashvili, Lizi Qarelishvili, Mariam Mekvabishvili, Mariam Tielidze, Rati Chutkerashvili, Salome Mekvabidze, Lasha Nikolishvili, Lika Narikashvili, Mariam Modebadze, Nia Shatakishvili, Rati Shushiashvili, Salome Kakiashvili, Salome Jashashvili, Sofo Tsitsagi, Keti Stefanishvili, Tsitsi Gudadze, Mariam Sadaghashvili, Mariam Niniashvili, Vladimer Totladze.

Winners were given certificates, memorable gifts and were awarded with Givi Khachidze scholarship and Tengiz Khidasheli , Gold medal winner, was given a free tuition pass- a decision made by the rector of the university.
