On June 11, 2020 GSTU hosted an online conference " Modern Challenges of Kartvelology", dedicated to Prof. Tariel Putkaradze's 60th birthday. Participants of the conference were : Giorgi Sosiashvili, Sergo Vardosanidze, Zurab Khonelidze, Roland Kopaliani, Maka beridze, Teona Khuperia, Jaba Samushia, Levan Jikia, Marika Sherazadishvili, Rostom Cheidze, Roin Malakmadze, Goneli Arakhkamia, Vianor Akhalaia, Mariam Koberidze, Sopho Kekua, Zurab Okropiridze and others. Presenters gave lengthy description of  famous professor's lifelong work and dedication to various researches. Main article was presented by Mr. Tariel Putkaradze himself.
