On December 24, 2015, an anniversary event , dedicated to prof. Sergo Vardosanidze, rector of the Georgian University and public lecture” how Georgian History was persecuted “ took place at GSTU. Guest was greeted by Giorgi Sosiashvili, rector of the university; Giorgi Khorbaladze; Eldar Mamistvalashvili, Ioseb Alimbarashvili, Marine Tsertsvadze, Otar Janelidze and Davit Akhlouri; Mariam Shavdatuashvili, a student of the university read a short-story , written by Prof. Giorgi Sosiashvili. The short-story had been dedicated to Sergo Vardosanidze and it had been published at special issue of the university newspaper. Mr. Vardosanidze gave a lecture after the event.
