On December 17, 2019 an celebratory event was held at GSTU, dedicated to the 80th birthday of Prof. Zurab Zerakidze. Opening speech was given by Prof. Giorgi Sosiashvili, who talked about octogenarian’s work and his dedication to the university. Professors: Giorgi Khorbaladze, David Natroshvili, Omar Purtukhia, Jemal Kiria ,Eldar Mamistvalishvili and Nino Razmadze,- a student of GSTU, congratulated Mr. Zerekidze and wished him healthy and happy life. Prof. Ioseb Chumburidze led the event. Students performed various musical pieces and songs at the end of the event.
