On April 27, 2016, within the framework of Student days 2016, Oto Nemsadze, well-known and beloved singer of Gori gave a concert at GSTU. Concert was open by Giorgi Sosiashvili, rector of the university who , in his opening speech emphasized the variety of" student days" this year and Mr. Nemsadze’s generous gesture – free concert to his home-town . Students of Gori University participated in the concert as well. At the end of the concert, Giorgi Khorbaladze, head of the administration expressed his gratitude toward participant on behalf of the university
