On April 25,2016, rector of the university of Ardahan, professor of Ardahan and Samtskhe-javakheti University  prof. Roin Kavrelishvili,-  delegation from University of Ardahan , Turkey visited GSTU. They were greeted by Mr. Giorgi Sosiashvili, Mr. Aleksandre Mghebrishvili and Giorgi Khorbaladze. Later they met members of academic counsel of GSTU, students and teachers.  Two rectors of the universities talked about future plans and signed the memorandum of collaboration. In accord with academic council guests were chosen to be honorary doctors of the university and were given certificates.  After the meeting , guests visited center of Turkish language at GSTU and attended the concert, they also visited  Stalin museum and  ancient stone city Uplistsikhe. Their official visit will be over on 26 April.
