GSTU hosted a meeting with consortium members of   Strengthening the quality and relevance of the 3rd mission in Georgian Universities (SQUARE), the project, financed by ERASMUS+ on September 12-14.  Within the framework of the project, experts from Finland and Belgium led training at the university where various issues concerning the management and assessment of mission activities were discussed. Mr. Giorgi Sosiashvili reviewed the university's experience related to the matter in his opening speech. Coordinator of the project: TSU. Participant universities: 8 Georgian and 4 foreign universities with the Ministry of Education and Science and EQE. The goal of the mission is to enhance the education level at Georgian universities. Participants are working on description and analyses of 3M activities, strategic planning, implementation and assessment while considering staff capabilities. Parties hope that such activities will cause substantial changes in university policy through institutional level and renewal of external quality base as well as the renewal of management within the scope of enhancing guidelines and teaching, research and other services.
