On December 16, 2020 director of Unus Emre Institute, Mr. Ali Oghuzkhan Uksel visited GSTU. He held a meeting with Giorgi Sosiashvili, rector of the university and discussed work relations, plans and perspectives between two universities. Parties decided to create Turkish language and culture center where Turkish language courses will be available for students and teachers of GSTU and joined academic and studying projects will be implemented.
