On January 25, 2023 GSU celebrated the anniversary of the well-known Georgian poet, translator and public figure Mr. Jemal Injia. The event was curated by Mr. Giorgi Khorbaladze, who reviewed life’s work of the poet. Giorgi Sosiashvili pointed out sophisticated poetry and high quality literary work of the poet. Mrs. Lela Maisuradze, Mrs. Marina Jaliashvili, Mrs. Marine Tsertsvadze and poet’s friend also gave speeches while students cited his poems and jazz-band “Kanudos”, Nikoloz Ghviniashvili, Tamar and Jaba Giunashvili and their students performed. Art and literature lovers and interested persons of Gori attended the event.

Gori University congratulates the great poet and wishes him life-long health and prosperity
