On June 26, 2021 within the project on joint initiative against violent extremism and radicalization, students of GSTU participated in the conference where results of participant students of GSTU and teachers of civic education of Shida Kartli schools were presented. At the beginning of the project, training was carried out for participants and at the next stage, joint training for school students was carried out by teachers and students on preventive measures of radicalization and violent extremism, environment and factors of encouragement. training helped to raise students’ awareness of violence, hate speech and legal means of restraining such outbursts in civic society. The project is fulfilled with support of GSTU partner organizations: CELA, Civic Education Teachers’ Forum, GCSD.
