On May 15, 2015 Gori State Teaching University Rector Professor Giorgi Sosiashvili met heads of the private and state institutions of the Shida Kartli region. The aim of the meeting was the research of the labor market in the Region. The aim of the research is to define quantitative and aging indices of the employees of private and state institutions according to the concrete professions. At the meeting the Rector talked about ongoing processes at the University, such as success in accreditation and authorization of the University and additions of some new bachelor’s educational programs. He also expressed readiness for creating employer’s club to support students’ employment. At the end of the meeting employers expressed their readiness for active involvement in the above mentioned process and give recommendations to the University administration.
