On December 12, 2018, a joint literary event took place at GSTU. It was organized by the faculty of Georgian Language and Literature and Tirdznisi Public school .It was dedicated to the memory of Goderdzi Chokheli. the event was opened by Tamila Gogoladze, whose idea was to hold an event and remember beloved writer and film director . Prof.Giorgi Sosiashvili, Giorgi Khorbaladze, Vianor Akhalaia talked about Chokheli's work , his tumultuous life and posthumous  popularity. at the end of the evening, school students performed a composition , created on Chokheli's work.
