On February 19, 2021, Mr. Enrico Valvo, the ambassador of Italy, visited GSTU. Mr. Giorgi Sosiashvili and the ambassador discussed various activities. Opening the center of Italian language and culture, starting Italian courses, encouraging popularization of Italian culture- these are some of the plans both parties are going to fulfill. Ornela Spano, Berika Shukakidze, Nugzar Samkharadze, Konstantine Tavzarashvili and other representatives of GSTU also attended the meeting. At the end of the meeting a memorandum was signed by Mr. Sosiashvili and Mr. Giovanni Giacomantonio., the president of “Minerva Intense” The memorandum is envisaged to strengthen work relations  between GSTU and higher educational institutions of Italy. Guests visited the center of Italian language and culture and the Occupation Museum.
