On September 16,2016, new academic year has started at Gori State Teaching University. Rector of the university, professor Giorgi Sosiashvili greeted students and teachers at the ceremony. Other speeches were made by Giorgi Khorbaladze, HE Andria, Shalva Tlashadze,deans of faculties: Ioseb Alimbrashvili, Davit Chochishvili, Marika Sherazadashvili, winners of the Olympic Games Rio 2016 :Vladimer Khinchigashvili and Geno Petriashvili. the ceremony had a Surprise Ending for students: They had a chance to meet the President of Georgia Mr. Giorgi Margvelashvili.
