Within the framework of the competition “ Occupied Territories of Georgia”, organized by Shota Rustaveli Scientific fund, Georgian scientists are implementing a project “ Representation of Shida Kartli Occupied Territories, Little Liakhvi Gorge (#OTG-I-21-593). Project supervisor Mr. Giorgi Sosiashvili, coordinator: Mr. Aleksandre Mghebrishvili, researchers: Mr. Ioseb Alimbarashvili and Mrs. Tamila Koshoridze. On July 14, 2022 the group presented the report on the ongoing project for scientists, students and other interested persons.

Mr. Giorgi Sosiashvili presented the architecture of the monograph, concise analyses and novelties of the project. Participants of the discussion were prominent Georgian and foreign scientists and professors: Ibrahim Tellioghlu, (Turkey), Mariam Chkhartishvili, Sergo Vardosanidze, Vasil Mosiashvili, Kakha Kvashilava, Roland Topchishvili, Tamar Meskhi, Vladimer Tsverava, Eldar Mamistvalishvili, Sofiko Sekhniashvili (Georgia) .

Participants expressed their opinion on preparing textbooks on the history of occupied territories, implementing educational courses for universities, publishing a monograph in three languages etc.

Mr. Giorgi Sosiahsivli thanked the audience for their interesting feedback and answered questions at the end of the discussion.
