On May 18,2017, Mr. Ioseb Alimbarashvili held a public lecture and exhibition of archive materials on : Gory Pedagogical Institute in 1935-1986, the faculty of Humanities”. Mr. Alimbarashvili gave lengthy speech on foundation of the institute, teachers and students who studied and worked during that period , the first rector Gabriel Tatarashvili and the tragic history of his life.
