On December 17, 2015 rector of the GSTU Giorgi Sosiashvili gave a lecture about past and present days of Tskhinvali at Kutaisi Public school of Petre Otskheli. Students, teachers and rector of the Kutaisi University Mr. Giorgi Ghavtadze along with local government officials attended the lecture. The same day, Kutaisi TV invited Mr.Sosiashvili as a guest of the show where the film about the anniversary of GSTU had been aired and Mr.Sosiashvili talked about challenges and achievements of the University
