On February 26, 2020, Representative of US Embassy and Loyola University academic personal visited GSTU. Mr. Giorgi Sosiashvili, rector of the university held a meeting with them and discussed joined activities in future. Rachel Rodgers, director of teaching cyber media program gave two public lectures on cyber media and education and reporting and storytelling in cyber media for students of journalism.

Within the frame of the visit, an open presentation was held at GSTU on US Embassy grants, presentation was led by Mrs. Sofo Bzishvili, manager of US Embassy grant programs.
