On June 15, 2016, scientific conference of university teachers, professors, Shida Kartli public and private school teachers was held at GSTU. It was opened by Giorgi Sosiashvili, rector of the university, Levan Midodashvili, Akaki mazanashvili, Manana michitashvili gave speeches at the conference. 13 lectures were given in the field of Georgian language and literature, foreign languages, history, natural science, education.
