On February 7, 2016 an event took place at Hotels & Preference Hualing Tbilisi. Ambassador of the people’s republic of China JI Yanchi invited Giorgi Sosiashvili, rector of the university and Ana Imnadze,- head of the strategic development, international and public relations office . The event was opened by ambassador , who welcomed guests and wished them happy Chinese new year. Mr. Michael Janelidze also made a speech and talked about Chinese- Georgian relationship.
