April 14 is the national day of Georgian Language. It was founded in 1990, as a memory of 1978 events. To commemorate the event of that day employees of Tourism support agency, Gori Municipality paid their respect to Iakob Gogebashvili and Shota Rustaveli memorials. Mr. Robert Maglakelidze, a chairman of Tourism Department gave a brief talk during the event and second year school student , Nikoloz Oniashvili read out a poem , dedicated to Georgian Language day. GSTU Students also attended the event.
