In March 15-16 , 2018, in Maltepe University, Istanbul, Turkey the seventh congress of The Caucasus Universities Association took place where two GSTU representatives participated. Prof. Aleksandre Mghebrishvili and Mr. Zurab Zurabashvili. Within the framework of the congress, a meeting with Turkey government officials took place on March 16. GSTU representatives met with association member delegations , a memorandum of collaboration was signed. Future relationships and joined application for MEVLANA mobility program were outlined at the meeting.
