On October 21, 2018, for studying the protected areas, undergraduate educational program students from the Faculty of Social Sciences, Business, and Law Studies visited Borjomi-Kharagauli National Park with Maia Azmaiparashvili, the head of the program. The Park was designed by the German Government (BMZ) with the help of the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) and is in compliance with international standards. While in the Visitor's Center of administration the students learned about the system of Georgian Protected Areas. They got acquainted with tourism services and explored the marked tourist trails of the Protected Area. The students also visited the main attractions: the views of Kvabiskhevi canyon, the old castle, historical monuments, beautiful panoramic views, protected forest habitats, and examples of rare biodiversity, etc.
