On May 26, various Independence Day events took place at GSTU. Photo exhibition, dedicated to the period of the first republic, projects of 35 Gori municipality school students “  Independent Georgia” and Calligraphic work of GSTU students were displayed at GSTU. The event was opened by Mr. Giorgi Sosiashvili, who briefly reviewed the history of the period, Mr. Ioseb Alimbarashvili, Mrs. Ani Kudukhashvili, Mr. Niko Javakhishvili, Mrs. Baiba Rivza and Mrs. Regina Iakobidze also gave speeches. Mr. Giorgi Sosiashvili gave certificates and gifts to participant students at the end of the event and winners of the essay competition “ Independent Georgia”
